APPLE PIE

Apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is one of the most classic desserts there is. Our Apple Pie Seasoning features a secret blend of cinnamon and other spices that makes classic apple pie as easy as ever!

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 medium apples, thinly sliced (peeled and cored)

  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons of butter in small pieces

  • Double Pie Crust

  • Regal Apple Pie

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
     

  2. In a medium bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, flour and 3 tbsp. of Regal Apple Pie Seasoning.
     

  3. Place unbaked pie crust in a deep 9-inch pie plate.
     

  4. Place the apple mixture in the tart shell and evenly distribute the pieces of butter on top of the mixture.
     

  5. Place the second pie crust on top, crimp or fold over the edges, and cut 4 to 6 slits in the top crust.
     

  6. Bake the tart for 15 minutes at 230°C (450°F), then reduce the heat to 175°C (350°F) and bake for a further 40 minutes or until the top of the tart is golden brown .
     

  7. Let the pie cool before serving.
