SWEDISH MEATBALLS
If your favorite thing when you go to Ikea is the lunch buffet, then this seasoning is for you! Our blend of chef-selected ingredients allows you to easily prepare restaurant-quality Swedish meatballs in the comfort of your home.
INGREDIENTS

1 lbs (450g) ground beef

½ lbs (225g) ground pork

2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
-
2 teaspoons of olive oil
-
1 tablespoon of butter
-
½ cup of milk
-
1 egg
-
Regal Swedish Meatballs
SWEDISH SAUCE
-
5 tablespoons of butter
-
⅓ cup flour
-
½ cup sour cream
-
2-3 cups beef broth
-
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
-
Salt and pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
MEATBALLS

In a large bowl, combine milk, egg, ground beef, ground pork, parsley and ⅓ cup Regal Swedish Meatballs seasoning.

Form the meat mixture into about 20-25 small meatballs.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and butter.

Cook the meatballs (without crowding them) until they are seared on both sides and cooked through.
SWEDISH SAUCE

In the same pan, over medium heat, melt the butter, then add the flour using a whisk.

Pour in the beef broth while continuing to whisk everything. For a thicker sauce, add only 2 cups of broth. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the sour cream, salt and pepper to taste, and parsley.

Add the cooked meatballs and reduce the heat to simmer for 5 minutes.
